Meet the crab

The mascot started as a pun: the developer's surname, Rak, means "crayfish" — colloquially, "crab" — in Belarusian and Russian. A collector's app needed a friendly face, and a crab fit the theme: it carries its whole home on its back, which is basically what CollectiGO does for your collections.

The hoodie and bike came next, turning a pun into something closer to a self-portrait — a small, slightly goofy stand-in for the developer behind the app.
